“The gifts of Air”
Breathwork workshop series @Hobnob with an inspiring facilitator, Lucy Hamel
From Saturday 18 January and every 2d Saturday 16:00-18:00
What can the breath do? How can conscious connected breathing benefit you?
If you practice yoga or meditation, you have probably learned how breath awareness can steady and illuminate the mind, and center the body. There are numerous breathing techniques that have a profound effect on our health, state of mind and sense of joy.
Conscious connected breathing is a guidance practice for you. How we perceive is a personal choice, and it can be a very freeing and loving space once we open ourselves to possibilities. At some point in your practice, you will also begin to understand the feeling of your own energy field, and the abilities of your own creative spirit.
Conscious connected breathing helps you:
-Sense your body on an energetic level
-Feel and cleanse emotions, with a sense of their gifts
-Connect with what means the most to your heart, the language of the heart is powerful and clarifying
-Improve your dream memories, and find inspiration while awake
-Clarify choices
-Sharpen your ability to remember
-Release toxins and stress
-Improve the quality of sleep
In our 1st introductory workshop we begin with your first breath, and travel through an understanding of emotions and life perceptions. So bring a notebook, an open mind and curiosity and I will share with you what I love so much. You may be surprised at how much connection can be found in the air!
